The idea sparked when my wife and I, proud new parents to our rescue pup Romeo from Street Dog Hero, were on our way to Bend's OnTap food cart lot and she jokingly said "I wish there was a food cart just for dogs!"
As a lifelong dog lover with a background as a culinary student at Cascade Culinary Institute, I dove into canine nutrition and food truck know-how. By April 20, 2024, Hungry Hound was born: Central Oregon's first food cart just for dogs!
